I was thinking the other day how the customer experience for customers of hairdressers has not really ever changed around the actual haircut itself. I was thinking it would be awesome if there was a platform hairdressers could buy which did all the operational bits of bookings and diary management etc.... but also has customer facing features. Things such as history of their haircuts, including the date and time, photos of the finished cut and notes from the cut. They could pull this up when discussing their next cut. An inspiration board of haircuts they like. These types of things to make the whole experience easy and quite fun...

Would love to hear everyones thoughts? Does anything exist already?

Phorest does most of these. Clients can pull up their history, dates, therapists. Not sure if there are any notes that they can read. Photos can be added also and I think it’s synced to social media. I’m not sure though because I don’t specialise in visual services. I’m not really chasing brow and lash services, or nail bookings so I didn’t look into this option.

We work off mini iPads and each therapist can access Phorest and pull up the history including notes and we can take a photo and upload it if we want. It also works on phones of course.
