I have my 4th client on friday and she already has some extensins on so needs me to infill them.
She doesnt know the products used previously so will I be ok to just infill them or will my product and hers 'react; if you know what I mean. (reject each other)????

They won' regect each other. Might not look as pretty as if you did use all the same product (colour variation) and I wouldn't guarantee them against lifting as you have no idea what calibre of tech the last person was ... but if the client is OK with all of that then go for it.

I had Creative on and out of desperation got them infilled with OPI a few days ago and they are awful! You can see the lines where she has joined the product and they are not such a nice shape and I felt she was using the L&P too dry and my smile lines are uneven and horrible :irked:

Ive done loads of infills on a different product but always advise that the nails may go discoloured and may be prone to lifting. and that you are not liable for any problems that may occur on the natural nails after they have been removed because it might have been the previous tech. best to get her to sign a disclaimers form before starting. xxx

WEEBEANIE: Do you have a sample of this disclaimer that you could supply - it sounds like a good idea.

Thank you Geeg for the info. No-one in my area does anything like this. So if you don't mind I might use this for my services.

Hunni ... everyone has copied it (even the NVQ with my permission) so use away and change it where you may feel appropriate for you.

If you want I can email you the flip side which is the bit you fill out for the client's service record. Send me your email details by pm and I will send it to you.

I use GiGi's one also, and it is super duper!

yeah mines is pretty much the same as that one! i had someone come back the other day saying that her skin was sore after her manicure and became red. she was threatening to get her "lawyer friend" to sort it out. but when she came in for a treatment i i asked her to fill out the form and she had said on it that she has no allergys and signed it also. she she didnt have a leg to stand on. i photocopied it 4 her and let her take it home and do what she wishes with it! it covers your back xx:)
