Has anyone purchased one of these or use them for mobile work for pedicures?
Saw them in the kleeneze magazine that gets distributed but doing a search on the net and they are quite widely available for a good price.

Thinking this is an easier way of doing mobile pedicures?

Can anyone think of any downsides for them?

Thanks in advance x

I think the inflatable foot spa would be a good idea for mobile use- the downsides of them that i can think of is They're not as relaxing as a nice vibrating massaging one and how strong are they really? U wouldn't want to catch it on something and they start leaking all on your clients floor! But a great space saving idea- i remember when i had to carry all my stuff about in the car!:):)

Hi i had one of these from Avon when i first started out as i didn't know if i'd be doing many pedicures but now i do loads so i got a proper foot spa and my clients much prefer it and it's easier to clean than the inflatable one.

THe one i got is a Visiq one it was only £20 and it's incredibly light.

Hi
Have had a few of these but have opted for a bowl with liners instead. I had a few punctures which aren't good especially when you only realise once its full and the clients feet are in. They are also difficult to santise regularly.

To be honest, ive done a few pedicures mobile and i hated having to carry around the foot spa. It takes up loads of space, you running around trying to plug it in to the wall and make sure its still near the client. Its hard to fill up in someones sink. I could go on and on. Last week, i bought an inflatable foot bath and i found it really good! Its so easy to carry as its small and light and its sooo much easier to fill up and you dont need to run around looking to plug it in anywhere. I tried it out on myself and i honestly thought it was just as relaxing as a foot spa. Because its inflatable, its really soft on the bottom of your feet, where as foot spas are hard on your feet! I would really recommend getting one! I also thought that maybe when you lift it up with water, the water would spill but it didnt! I bought mine from salon services and it wasnt expensive at all, a lot cheaper than a foot spa!
I hope that i helped you, like how much more helpful an inflatable one is also!

I had one just for myself and found it a load of agro. I would buy a foot spa for your clients hun. I guess you just have to put yourself in a clients shoes. Ok.so a foot spa is a bit heavier but what you you rather have your feet soaked in, a foot spa or inflatable?
Little things like this will keep your clients coming back to you. xxx

Thanks for the replies, i already have a foot spa but like has been said with all the other stuff you have to carry around and other difficulties i was hoping for an easier option.

I might have to do a little research maybe offer the inflatable foot bowl to one of my regulars but at a discounted rate to see what their honest opinion would be and go from there.

Thanks againx

If you are prepared to work mobile you have to be prepared to carry A LOT OF STUFF AROUND....if you can carry an inflatable footbath as well as all your other stuff then you can carry a quality product easily.
Quality speaks volumes sometimes x
