Does anyone know where I can do an intimate waxing course near Edinburgh or Glasgow. I qualified from college a year or so ago and now rent a room in a hairdressers. I only offer basic bikini waxing however I do get a lot of customers asking for Brazilian. I don't feel confident or competent enough to offer this so want to train a bit more???

Any suggestions would be grateful... X

Hey chick i'm quite close to you and i couldn't find anywhere decent to train with so i got Kim Lawless to come up from London - Only problem is she would only come if i got 4 others so i'm guessing the same would apply for you. So if you know anyone else you could ask her.

If you need anymore info feel free to PM me xxx

That's great thanks for that. Don't think I could get 4 other people together tho. Will ask around my college buddies and see what they say x

I emailed Kim today to see if she was doing any courses in Scotland as I am keen to do an intimate wax course too.
I am further north but am willing to travel to get the training.

Maybe we could get enough people together between us? I could probably get 2 people and we could meet somewhere central. Will you let me know what she says?

Hopefully you get something sorted remember you will need to provide a location big enough for 6 people although my home treatment room worked fine for us that don't have big salons xxx

Thanks again for your help. I'm sure we'll get something sorted x

Good luck, i hope you manage to find enough people to do this with, if not you can always travel to kim together and work on each other,
i organised a class for this in Yorkshire and kim came to take the class, it was fab we all really enjoyed the learning experience that kim passed to us and i can honestly say i feel 100% confident to wax any one who wants a brazilian now,
this lady makes it all so easy

Honestly you will be amazed how easy kim makes the whole experience,
i had never tried to do one before as i just could not get my head around where to start and finish and with it been such a delicate area the thought of hurting someone terrified me, but i can not wait to show off my new skill now

I dont have a home salon yet (hoping to get my log cabin soon) but do have a plinth set up in my bedroom.
Do you think that would be ok?
Think I could get some others from college to come as well.

I'm sure as long as it is clean and tidy and has the room to fit everyone round it comfortably then it will be fine.

Obviously a salon is ideal but i'm sure Kim has worked in all environments by now!

Oh and as for making pupils comfortable she has one hell of a knack! Apart from me being so nervous waxing infront of a queen, I was raring to go that night and booked my first paying client for the next day and i did brilliant i wasn't nervous at all, I oozed confidence x

I train a little differntly from most. Even if there is a group of you, there is only one person being waxed and one person waxing at one time. So, nobody is waxing without me watching your every move and helping you. So when you're not waxing, you are standing around the couch watching the others wax. Why? Because I believe that the best way to learn is to watch and to do. With each Braz/Hollywood you watch that day, you'll be learning.

So no need to worry if you don't have a salon. As long as you have one couch and enough room for a group of you to stand around the bed, that is fine. xxx

Thanks PP and Kim

I was just sending a reply to PP and I see you have answered my questions Kim.
I have one couch in my bedroom and can make room for us all to see.

Really looking forward to getting something organised.
How many students do you need to make it worth your while coming to the North of Scotland?

xx

Im in Livi too...did a course with Australian Body Care on brazilian but would be interested in advancing further.

I currently rent a large room in a hairdressers in Edinburgh that would be more than big enough for a few of us to gather round (I have 2 friends interested at the moment). I am more than happy for us to use that. Hope we can get somthin together soon.

Linda - if you want to join in i'll let you know all the details once we have them.

x
