Hello to All,
I have been quietly reading all your usful info over the last few weeks and am now ready to introduce myself. I have just completed an intro training course to Beauty and nails and will now be doing the rest of my training from home so i am about to buy all my kits. I am to set myself up as a mobile Beauty Therpist and Nail Tech.

After reading up on the info on here i am going to go for the Perron Rigot waxes, but please can you advise if i can still use the 900g Just wax heater with these waxes as i like the sound of this heater. Or do i need to use the metal wax heater.

And also for the moment can you advise me on Insurance are there any better than others for mobiles?

And lastly for the moment were on line can i buy OPI nail products as i think i might use these.

Thanks in advance, looking forward to reading all your advise.

Welcome to the site .

There are lots of different insurance companies which offer good deals, just try and make sure that your kit is covered whilst in transport and don't forget to inform your motor insurance company that you are now using it for business. These are some of the companies I can think of now but I'm sure there are lots more that others may remember.

If you want to use OPI (which I highly recommend!!) use should contact Lena White who are the British distributers for them and they can give you a price list. They don't yet offer online ordering but it can be done over the phone and they are a very friendly bunch:)

Hope that helps.

Thanks Debs for your quick response, i have just contacted Lena White and info will be sent in the post.

Don't suppose you know what wax heater is best used with Perron Rogot, i am now thinking i might need to buy a double heater for bikini line waxing and leg waxing as i might use two different types of wax at the same time?

I don't know whether the heater you have will take the tins or not because I'm not familiar with it, but I use Perron Rigot and use the Babyliss Pro double heater. I have hot wax in one pot and strip in the other.
Buy Double Wax Warmer from Beauty Express

Thanks Debs,
you have answered my question, i shall buy the double wax heater. And yes i have the Beauty Express brochure so shall order from them.
