hello everyone!

i was wondering if itd be worth doing a introduction to nail services or just paying out for a VTCT nail services course in the introduction course it covers the areas of manicure techniques, nail filing/cuticle work, hand and arm massage, polish, nail art and painting techniques.....or the VTCT is mani/pedi,acrylics,gel,maintance,nail art etc!!!

im just unsure which to go for the introduction start on the 3/3/09 and costs £75

the VTCT starts in september and costs £255 but thats for the course itself thats without the uniform and text books and also it says you dont need to purchase a kit everything is supplied for you

thankyou for taking your time to read this :)

Hi pretty in pink, i have just completed vtct level 2 manicure and pedicure, found it very informative, however at my college i did have to buy a kit, which consisted of all the tools you need, files, cuticle nippers etc, and nail polishes too. Have just signed up for the nail enhancements which starts this week. Cant wait. After lots of research i decided to go to college and take my time, rather than be taught every thing in a day.

well im also wanting to do level 2 beauty therapy and the VTCT nail services but the beauty is going to cost £350 unless i can get funding for it which im still waiting for college to get back to me about that but i guess if i can get funding for the beauty course i could pay out for the nail services or at least thats what im hoping will happen...im not a lucky person lol

Hello
Pse can you pm me the name, address and phone number of the college that has the training you mentioned.
Thanks a lot! Kamsi

I thoroughly enjoyed the VTCT courses in mani and pedi and nail art.
The enhancement course was rather lacking in information tbh.
Depends on the college though...sorry can't be more help x
