Ive got one its about 2 years old now and just gone to use it today after a few weeks and when i go to my playlist and click the button to go to the next song i click it once and it goes to the 1st song then second third and so on, its not working properly u know it goes to the next song but its just carrying on like its getting stuck or something!! i dont know how it can stick because for you who have one theres no way of it getting dirty in the buttons ive tried blowing to get rid of any dust but its still not working?!

what do i need to do to get it working properly. im sure it wont be able to get fixed or exchanged because its 2 years old i love my ipod and need it to work :(

any body have any suggestions?

Sorry. I'm old. I am still getting over LPs.
My son says blow into it?? or get a small bush for the dust??

theres like no gap if you know what i mean... its like sealed around the circle? arrrgh im going mad ive been on the internet for 3 hours trying to figure it out i duno if its broke?

i think i will take it into currys or somewhere that sell ipods just to see what they say.

still if anyone has any suggestions would be v helpful

:)

Son says.... have you checked that the battery is ok?
If it is then go back in with it.
He had a few probs and Currys were very understanding and sorted it out for him.
It never cost ME anything so it must be true:)

not sure what you mean, the battery is fully charged? i wil take it in today x

if you go to apple web site they give suggestions for problem solving of i pods

ive had a search on the website but my problem isnt there. ive reinstalled itunes from the disc but turned out its not upto date so the restore option isnt working, followed the link and got the latest version now. my ipod may now work! but cant see because its said do not disconnect for about 20 minutes and dont understand why? is it charging? helP!

is it possible to see if you can send it to Apple to have a look at?

Hi
Have you tried resetting it ?

Mine got stuck in the middle of a song and wouldnt budge. I had to reset it so that the apple sign came back on and its been fine ever since.

You dont lose your songs or that.

Just a thought.

My Ipod Nano always says do not disconnect when its charging. You need to 'stop' the device, same way as you would any external USB drive, before disconnecting.

Best suggestion is, if you can see the device icon (usually bottom right hand corner of your screen...like a littel block and green arroww) right click in it and follow the instructions to stop it. Or you ould turn your pc off...then remove it.

All else fails....just disconnect - you're not supposed to, but in all honesty it generally isn't a big problem.

The you can try it.....hope it works

didnt manage to sort the do not disconnect thing out but its not sticking any more. i think its because it is on my laptop it never did it on my computer but i though its just different on laptops? i will try it on the comp tomorrow and not rite bothered because i dont really need to listen while i put songs on my ipod. ive got a seperate ipod charger so its not like i have to use the laptop to charge it

thanks ladies ♥
