Hi i use nsi products but want to change, i have heard alot about creative is this the best because of the products or is it just the name? I would love some advice thanks x:)

Reputations are not earnt easily, and if it was just marketing hype CND would have been found out long ago. Their products are brilliant and their education is the only education to have won industry awards.

They are completely deserving of their reputation IMO.

My whole business is based on CND products, L&P, Brisa gel, manis, pedis, polish etc - I cannot fault anything.:)

Ditto. Everything I stock and now use is CND only. I used to be NSI and EZFlow but converted and decided to be a one brand salon. Haven't looked back since.
The after sales, education and support is second to none, you wont find better imho.

The simple answer is there is no "best" of anything - you need to find what works best for you & meets your needs. We all have personal preferences because we all look for different things in a range. I certainly wouldn't choose a range just because others like it - I would want to try it myself first!

You are of course entitled to your opinion but in fact there are 'bests' of many many things in this world and CND is one of them. It has a beauty that surpasses anything I have ever seen and it lasts for your clients longer than any other system in the world. That is why techs are so loyal to the brand and that is why clients are so loyal to the brand.

The answer for you is simple .... TRY IT ..... YOU'LL SEE.

For a similar reason brands like Jessica have won many awards & developed a strong & devoted following, hence my assertion that there is no ONE best, just many good ranges from which we should choose the one most suited to our own individual needs.

there are a lot of good ranges out there, what works for one may not for another, and what one loves another may not, you need to go and get some samples and see what you like best as its you that has to work with it, try opi, jessica, creative, china glaze essie, all good ranges and deserve a look at

In my experience it also very much depends on where you are

I thought this poster was asking about enhancement products not polish?

I have found that when people 'don't get on' with certain products its because they have never been taught to use them correctly. With correct training there is absolutely no reason in the world why someone wouldn't 'get on' with a product.

Same goes for those who think a product 'works' for some and not for others??? That's only true if they don't know how to use the product. It is the clients needs we need to serve not just our own.

Some people are very stubborn and think they know it all and don't need training to use technically advanced products ... wrong! When a product is way out above all the rest, it is because it is different. Something that is different means the user may have to make a few minor changes .. to know those changes you need to be taught.

I was talking enhancement products too.
But I am not getting into this discussion again.

This is very true. However, there are many products and brands which stand out from the crowd.

But there is simply no ONE top brand or brand that everyone should aspire to use.

NSI, Entity, Kinetics, EZFlow, IBD, Creative etc all produce top quality, top performing products.

well...in my opinion Creative are one of the best if not the best in the nail industry.....it is just silly not to acknowledge that. They are with out a doubt the best prduct in offering a natural nail enhancement.

I do think though that there are many other up and coming brands that realise this and are competing well and are advancing their own brands in the similar way that CND have.......with this there are those that also offer something different to what CND offer with regards to design aspects.....i enjoy this area myself which is why i converted to another brand, it was nothing to do with quality of product although i know that what i use now is not that far behind and are continuing to get better with every new product that they offer (in my opinion of course).

I do believe though that I made the absolute right decision with my first steps in the nail industry by choosing my CND foundation as i think this has given me the greatest start and knowledge in nails....i am still shocked when i hear people who have been going to college for a long period of time and ask silly question that i know the answer to.... I think to myself 'blimey we were taught that on day 1/2'. I think that the two things that you must look for in choosing who you think you would like to go with are products and education.....what do they offer and are they good!!!!

hi, is there any products that you have in mind to change to as if your between one or two products most companies will do a one to one and introduce you to their range without having to buy their kit, your better off looking into it and making the decision for yourself, as when i was starting off i went with a very well known skin care range because it had the name and everyone raved about it but to be honest after investing so much into it i noticed there were just as good and cheaper renges out there if i had only went to more effort in trying things out for myself, so now i am deciding on a natural nail line for myself and have booked in for a one to one with a company im thinking of going with and no commitment to buy there products and after i will decide, so definitely before you buy test and see for yourself and good luck with whatever you choose

Thanks for all your comments it is only nail extensions that i will be converting to, i am happy with my manicure and pedicure ranges.
I have decided to get a trial kit from creative and see for myself, so thanks everyone. xx:lol:

I don't see anyone saying CND is not a good product, rather it is the assumption that there is just ONE best product range that everyone should aspire to use in order to be the best that myself & others take issue to.

There are MANY good ranges & surely it is far better to encourage an individual to try samples etc from a number of good ranges & let them come to their own conclusion rather than indulge in such tiresome & meaningless discussions as to which ONE range is the best?

I don't think anyone is saying that there 'can be only one'. However to say that there is 'no best' is not really true either is it? The problem is, 'best' can be defined in countless ways: Best performance, best value, best packaging, best application, best finishing, yadayadayada.

'Best' is subjective.

You can't compare a Ka to a Ferrari can you? A Ka may be best for some (i.e. people who have a budget) but it isn't best on performance.

Find what it important to you and I can assure you there are always clear winners to be found.

I don't think anyone is saying that there 'can be only one'.

I was replying to the initial question, which was "is Creative the best", however I agree entirely with your sentiments that 'best' is subjective & opinion will differ depending upon what one is looking for in a product/range. It is for this reason that I likewise suggested one should look at a variety of reputed ranges & find one that meets one's own individual needs rather than just using the one everyone else tells you is "the best".

I agree with a lot of what Sian says and have followed pretty much the same route, experimenting with more than one brand. I am another one who likes the design/colour aspect of nail enhancements and so ezflow and nfu-oh are very good choices for this. I also really appreciate cnd l&p. I have now come to the conclusion that I can combine the various aspects of these brands to produce the type of effects that I want, plus I've also had great education from more than one company.

'Best' IS subjective and, imho, there are some great companies out there and you can pick and choose what bits you want and from where. There shouldn't be any need to feel bad about mixing and matching to a certain extent, using what you like best from each one <and I'm obviously not talking one brand's powder with another's monomer here>. I am only just starting to work out what I like and why. I don't see any need to align myself to one brand exclusively and so if I like one's files, another's l&p and someone else's colours, then I'm ok with that. If you're someone who can find absolutely everything you want from one company, that's ok too!

I think it's a pity to close your mind to possibilities, though. Your journey might even take you back to point A, but at least you've satisfied yourself about what's out there and can make a more informed choice. :)
