Hello I have a client who is a base 4, and after consultation she has decided she would like to go red. I'm going to use wella colour touch 55/54 with a little special Mix and 4%. But I'm just wondering the best way to lighten her hair up, she has coloured hair already although her natural base is 4.

I'd probably say a bleach bath would do it as you don't need to lift it too light. Putting bleach on all over will make it too light and damage the hair. You just need to shift the colour. Even if it means doing a couple of bleach baths if it needs it, will be gentler and more even x

Yes I'd bleach bath , lot kinder to the hair Xx

Great thanks guys ;) x

I would say bleach bath saying you just need to lift out the tint and don't want to go too light.
Mix equal conditioner as the peroxide it helps and causes less damage. Xx

Just wanted to say thank you. I bleach bathed it up a few levels then applied the semi and it worked a treat xx
