Is It Fate Or Just Unlucky

Hi everyone,
Last year i was made redundant and decided to retrain as i had qualified over 10 years ago. I used my redundancy money to go to the Yorkshire College of Beauty and did Holistic Massage and Beauty Specialist which i finish in June. I am in the process of setting up to go mobile but wanted to still work full time until i built up a clientell and my confidence in giving treatments.

I had my second degree in Reiki the other week and my reiki master told me that strange things might happen over the next couple of weeks/months due to my attunment but to just let them happen as they happen for a reason.

Well today i had a lovely day at the BABTAC show and met Eve Taylor and a lady on the glo mineral stand who gave me lots of personal advice regarding only choosing the products that i feel comfortable using and dont be pressured by anyone into buying thngs. She was lovely and i was telling her about setting up my mobile business and i didnt enjoy my full time job. She then told me about a job that would be perfect for me. I have taken the details from her and was going to look at it when i got home.

On the way home i got a call from business link telling me that i am eligible for a £1,000 marketing / advertising grant and the lady is going to call me to arrange a meeting - wicked i thought.

I then received another call from my boss telling me that i might be out of a job by the end of the next month as the business is being taken over. I am really gutted as this has messed up all my plans.

Now is all this to do with reiki or is this fates way of telling me to get a move on and do something that i enjoy and actually want to do??

Who knows....

who knows!

reiki tends to do a big shift in mindthought, etc, so perhaps the job is shedding the obstacle that is keeping you from starting your business.

others would say its a coincidence and these things would happen anyway.

re: biz link, don't get your hopes up with them, they promise a lot but it takes them for ever do anything, the paperwork gets lost everytime and then when it boils down to it, you work damned hard to get the money from them.

I am a bit fed up about it all really. I was away from work when they all got told so i will find more information out tomorrow. I wont get any redundancy money as i havent been there for a year.

think of it positively though, you can now launch your new career, perhaps look for a part time job if you need X amount of money coming in.

Reiki works in mysterious ways, and perhaps its removed the obstacles so that you can't be pulled in all directions.

well, personaly, I am a huge believer in fate and really think everything happens for a reason, good or bad. If I were you I would see it as a positive sign, and go for it. Setting up any business is never easy, but Im sure you will enjoy the challenge. Go for it, and good luck:hug:
