hi my friend is expecting a baby at christmas and said she would like her nails doing - is it safe to do so? will she need a note from her doctor to say its ok?

As long as she is fit and well there is no reason not to.
You'll probably find that she will need a rebal a bit sooner than normal as the nails tend to grow a bit faster during pregnancy.

Hi, Yes it's absolutly fine. I'm 5 months pregnant, and have them on all the time as well as doing other peoples. I also did my training whilst pregnant and was assured that it's fine. It'll probably make her feel quite nice as well, i know it cheers me up being all fat and frumpy!!!lol

thats great, thanks. lol bless youre not fat and frumpy youre 'blooming' marvellous lol!

According to Doug Schoon's book, there is no reason to not do nail services on someone who is pregnant. I would make sure to not get any nail product on her skin just as an extra precaution.

i have mine done and its been ok.
