What a ridiculous thing to say!!! It has nothing to do with us not being confident or not knowing how to sell it. In the UK we have always had a much more classy, subtle approach to nails. Such flashy nails are not as popular here and never have been, so most people prefer to wear something like that on their feet where it is more subtle. Just like nail art is not as popular here, it doesn't mean that we can't do it!
Well I think the responses to this post says it all! (thank you girls)
'Us'? Who is 'us'? If you read a vast number of threads/posts on here you will see that so many Minx users are not confident in Minx on fingers and tend to stay with offering just toes.
In the the UK, where I belong, there is a very wide diversity of tastes. Generalising, as you have, has been described as 'offensive' and definitely falls into the category in which you have classed my comments.
I have designed a line for Minx and, if you were to look at them, you will see that some of them should appeal to a more 'conservative' market (I won't use your descriptions as they are not appropriate).
My point, following the original thread, is that Minx can and does work well on fingernails and, if you do both the sheet works well. If you only do toes then careful handling is needed to make the best use of a sheet.
I have no problem at all that many technicians only offer Minx for toes. I am also making the point that good training and practice will make them work on fingers if client expectations are achieved and there are no disappointments, i.e correct sales.
