Hey everyone!

Is there anyone who has trained with these people Nail training, beauty courses, nail course, nails

It seems like a course I'd like to do, but seems very cheap.... is it reliable or one of those rubbish courses?

Still trying to think of who to go with for my training, even considering a different college.

2 day course???? you get what you pay for im sure

There is no way on this earth that you can learn all four systems over 2 days, you would not even be able to learn 1 system over 2 days,
all this course will do is take your hard earned cash and confuse the hell out of you,
you need to learn one system at a time and be fully confident with that system before moving on and learning another one, otherwise you would get the two confused when doing a set of nails and then you get lots of problems,
they are plenty of great courses out there that will give you a really good start in the industry and CND is number 1, this is why they have won numerous awards for their training courses,
be wise hun and don't waste your money

I thought that's what you would say. I have got a quote of £*** for a L+P & Gel 6 Day course with CND, can't get hold of EzFlow, just seem to get an answer phone all the time, NSI seem even more expensive than CND.... Oh and I totally forgot about Young Nails (My tutor raves about Young Nails, but I think its because she knows Steve) I don't know which to go with. I already know how to do Fibreglass and Silk. Its just L+P i desperately need to learn.

I must say that does look highly confusing to learn all of that in 2 days most short courses i have seen are gel course, acrylic and then silk they are not all in the same course they are 2 days each xx

They say you will get infill information and a demonstration:rolleyes:. Maintenance is the most important thing you need to be able to do.
Wait untill you get all your info from the big names, that's where you'll find the quality education.

How about looking into some on-one training with someone like CND.

I agree 2 days isn't very long to learn all systems, but you say you need to focus on L&P, so do just that. Go and get some one-one training focused exactly on your needs and I bet you'll learn more in a day or two than you would in a month in a classroom!

And its not actually that expensive when stacked up against the cost of a foundation....where you wouldn't even get the benefit of it being around your individual needs.

doing full sets is one thing, but learning all the other stuff is the hard part.
Maintenance and learning to deal with chips, cracks, splits, damage and lift among others things is the most important part of what we do (but newbies have the NailGeek for that ..... right)?

Maintenance is our bread and butter.

Get some proper training, some respectable training where you can hold you head up high knowing you are a worthy technician.

Before signing up to ay training course, you should always check with your insurance company first to make sure that they will recognise the qualification and cover you once you have completed it.

I have rang CND (I put all that stuff in my blog so I didnt bore everyone) and they have given me a quote for a 6day L+P and Gel course. Is it one to one tuition or small classes? All the other courses confuddle me. like I assumed they only did mani and pedi for beginners not realising I could do the spa day?
NSI never sent me my catalogue/training info and I am still waiting on CND info :green: I cant get through to EzFlow, except answer phone.

Do I have to have insurance to do the courses with CND?

I cant get through to EzFlow, except answer phone.

Is it Grafton's your trying to call? I have the same problem trying to call them and end up leaving answer service messages which take ages to get a call back. I thought maybe it was just me  Try emailing them, they respond quickly that way ime

CND do have small classes, the maximum number is 8 to a class,
you have one educator that does not sit down the whole way through the class, they walk around the class and continuously help each and everyone of you with every step of the process from prep to application,
no you do not have to have insurance to do the course,
towards the end of the course they give you all the info you will need about insurance for your future career hth

Yes it is Grafton I call, the receptionist puts me through to training and I just get answer phones from there! I always get tongue tied on answer phone messages though!!

Please could you by any chance give me an email address for the trainer closest to Manchester area?

Thanks, does EzFlow have one to one? or small classes? I was going to train with Young Nails, but I think thats only because we had a day training thing with Steve and my tutor knows him so always sings his praises
