Hi! Not sure if this is the right place to post this, apologies if not. I’ve just had a full head of highlights done and asked for a silver toner...this is the result. Normally I wouldn’t say anything but I paid £90 for the full head and £32 for the toner. Are my expectations too high thinking it would look better than this?! Thank you!

I wouldn't be too happy.
The highlights look very chunky, the ends don't match the colour at the roots. And it's not silver?
So I don't really think they've hit the brief?
I personally would call them up and explain, ask them what they can do to fix it?
Send photos or ask for a consultation.

They’re not very well done at all. In fact, it’s something I’d expect a level 2 hairdresser might do during training, not a fully qualified and experienced hairdresser, but I can’t get over charging £32 extra for a toner?

Surely the toner should be included in the cost of highlights as it’s an essential part of the service after bleaching. It’s like charging you extra to blow dry your hair, after a shampoo.

Definitely go back and complain. If it’s a salon, speak to the manager and insist on getting it rectified FREE of charge.
