hi guys,

i rent a room within a hairdressers, one of the hairdressers had her nails done by a nss and decided to come to me less drill damage look nicer tec. but they used to left more than the mma acrylic, so as 5 mths of wearin nothing she went back to nss.

they said "we thought kelly did your nails" hairdresser said "she did but the acrylic lifted cos i have my hands in water etc, i just dont like the drill damage and lines i get left with here" she replied "thats why you dont get lifting here cos of the indent the drill creates it keeps the water out"

am i right in thinking thats aload of cock n bull?

xx

Its actually true to a degree.....MMA doesn't adhere well to the natural nail.....so they have to create groves and rough up the natural nail with the e-file so that the MMA has something to grip onto....its nothing to do with water though... using good quality products don't need this drastic and damaging procedure....quality products will adhere well to the natural nails with just a 240 shine removed finish.

This is a great link to information on MMA, print it out and give it to the lady she will never have her nails done there again.
