Is wella CT 6/97 or 6/71 ashier/less red?

6/97 will reduce some natural warmth then add an auburn tone. Makes a clearer result.
6/71 adds auburn tones then reduces that result a touch. It will come out warmer, but a little more 'muddy' depending what's underneath.

Colour touch is tone on tone, so do consider what you're putting it on, then decide what you want to change.

If I wanted to achieve a flatter more natural result on prelightened hair I'd go for 6/71. If I wanted to add a bit of interest to a base 7 or 6 then I'd use 6/97. 6/97 is a lovely colour but I feel it leaves the hair warmer than 6/71 would.

So would you say 6/97 + 4% to cover the few greys and 6/71 + 1.9% ends? Haven’t coloured her hair before but I think she’s hating the colour of the ends as it’s faded up.. feel like I need to reduce some of the reddy/brownish tones? X

Does she want it to look coloured or does she want it to replicate her natural colour?

I think more similar to her natural.. and she mentioned that she doesn’t want it any darker than her natural! X

I'm curious what you decided, I'm try to decide between 7/71 and 7/97 on previously lightened hair with some greys coming in
