Itchy scalp

Hi everyone, I have a client who has just started some new medication & it's made his scalp really itchy. I advised he see a trichologist but in the meantime is there anything I can recommend to him that isn't head & shoulders?

A trichologist may be an expensive root to take initially.
I'd suggest he goes back to see the GP and see if there's an alternative medication as this is obviously a side effect of the current prescription.
As for shampoo's there's plenty of good scalp shampoo's.
These are the ones I'd recommend :- Muk dandruff shampoo- it's Very good not just for dandruff. This is the most popular among my clients that I've provided.

The others I recommend are Tigi Bed Head urban antidotes level 0.
Or Philip Kingsley flakey itchy scalp shampoo. But it doesn't smell Very nice in my opinion.
