I do cnd shellac only - I’m not qualified to deliver gel/acrylic (yet).

Do I still call myself a nail technician? If not, what do you suggest? Just for business cards etc.
Thanks x

Yes, you can do that. Nail Technician is not a protected job title as there is no legal requirement in the UK and most other EU countries to have any training before providing a nail salon service. (most insurance companies will require some level of professional competence though)

If you are planning to train further then it would make sense to go with ‘nail technician’ from the start on your promotional material.

Thank you. I am qualified in level 2 beauty therapy, level 3 Swedish Body massage and level 3 Indian head massage - I'm also qualified to do and shellac but as of yet I've not looked at enhancements - I'm not entirely sure whether I want to yet. But I just wanted to check I was ok to be a 'technician' without offering enhancements!
