On all of my nails, and one on my mums hand, where the pink and the tip colour (white or whatever colour you pick) it seems to just break away when i'm filing.
but it is just the corners, the nail and smile line in general is fine, but the corners of the pink just chip away and leaves it looking all horrible at the sides. I guess someone just looking at your nails, they wouldnt tell, but i can, and if a client had it, then they would tell.. and wouldn't be very happy. cause it's annoying me lol.

I've done my nails like 5 times, and i've noticed it the last three times.

I really dont understand why it's happening??
Help :(

how are you applying the acrylic?

Hi Hun,
I think you just need to me careful that your prep is done correctly. It sounds to me that you are getting side wall lifting.
Are the nails completly dry before you apply the L&P?
Or is the L&P too close to the skin at that point?
Keep trying you will get it right.
Phone your educator, they may know what is wrong, I am sure they will give you advice on how to prevent it.
Lotsa luv x  x

I would say they are just too thin at the corners. Nails don't have to be thick, but neither should they be so thin that they bend and cause cracking. They also need to be kept out of the mouth!!! No squeezing with the teeth!!

Gave a reply when you blogged this, but I'm chuffed to bits that I came up with the same answer as Gigi:green:
