Hi Guys,
I'm really stuck with a friend of mine who I've been practising on. She's had gel tips a few weeks ago and they just keep popping off (apparently).
Every few days I seem to be getting a phone call saying that one has come off, so she comes over and I redo the ones that have come off. Yesterday she came over and she only had two nails left (a week after I had replaced some).
I redid the eight nails and this morning she rang and said one of her thumbs had come off when she was sleeping!!! Her thumbs seem to be the worst. I think my prep is good, I do everything that I have been taught - remove cuticle from nail, scrub fresh 5 secs per nail and remove the shine. I then apply the tip and use the gel products as instructed.
She's a trainee hairdresser, if that makes any difference?
Can anyone help me find where I'm going wrong, because they just won't stay on!
Cheers,
Heather
