Was wondering if anyone does mini facials, hand treatments etc for children?

Was considering offering it as a christmas suggestion.

Thought they could come for a mini facial using sensitve range, have a hand massage and even could do a mini manicure.

Kids really love the whole manicure - nail art thingy. Maybe go for the teenagers. As a way of getting them interested in looking after their skin and nails.

Yes, I'd agree with pazzy.

The ones just going through puberty will be very aware of their skin and giving good advice at this stage will go down well. Could you market it as a facial with a lesson on skin care?

Don't know all about the ins and outs of insurance and training and things. Would you be able to do this on a one-to-one with a client? I'd think so, as you are just offering advice on skin care tailored to their own skin

I think the facial and lesson on their own would be an ideal present to include in your range, pricing it fairly high for such a tailored session.

Hi Ann,

I am just starting out doing princess parties but I haven't done any mini facials yet so can't help you there.

I do know though that they LOVE having their nails painted be it fingers or toes. At the last pp we did, we painted finger & toe nails & applied a touch of make up. They were 9 & 10 & especially loved the make up.

I know my own girls like being massaged so think a 'mini me' package would work well especially with the chocolate.

Talking of chocolate, we have had loads of bookings the last couple of weeks for our chocolate orange back massage. Just the melted chocolate with a few drops of orange essential oil. We also do the chocolate with rose & geranium oils to make a 'Turkish Delight' massage.

Hiya, I've got two things ... firstly, I wish you weren't so far away because my two daughters aged 6 & 8 would love what you're suggesting!
Secondly, I'm in the process of negotiating a mega-spray-tan for a dance academy for girls aged 10-16. One of my stipulations is that for under 16s I require an appropriate adult to be present at all times, I'm requesting parents' signatures to allow the spray tan to go ahead, and the least the girls can wear when being spray tanned is a bikini.
There always seems to be a lot to consider when dealing with children, but I'm sure it'll all be worth it in the end xxxx:)
