hi i had a phone call asking me to do a nail party for 10 12-13 year olds. They want a file and polish and some nail art. I was thinking of doing some goody bags as well, does anyone have any ideas on what kind of nail art and what to put in the bags. This is my first party.

I did one last month and it was a hoot! Your best bet for nail art is to get some stickers. Much quicker, as the kids don't really want to sit still for too long and you have a lot to get through.

Although my party was for 7 year olds, they all liked various shades of pink polish with some flower stickers and a quick top coat. Remember, they probably won't be allowed to wear nail polish or art for school so something quick and easy to remove by mum will be favourite.:green:

As for goody bags, a polish and some stickers will probably do. Hope this helps and good luck!

Definitely stickers or paint some really basic flicks in a sparkly silver,
you will need a pink polish with glitter in it and you will find that the most of them will want to copy the first child which is usually the birthday girl,
body glitter gel goes down well for the party bags for this age range, a business card in each bag and a discount voucher for the parent to use in each bag too hth

Oh bum, I never thought of that!:irked:

Hi,
Is it Christmas nail the want or just plain nail art? I was interested in offering Christmas Nail Art and when I called up NSI to ask about some possible ideas they said that they had some new Christmas nail art stickers in and they were going to be offering them as a kids stocking filler in a pack with some nail art pens and glitter which sounded good. x

thanks everyone for your ideas

can I ask what you would charge for a kids party?

Just wondering the difference per child instead of going to a fun house etc and would they normally get provided snacks or something?

Hi hun, i found flicks go down a huge treat, and with the christmas season hear, maybe some snow flakes or stars they look fab on pinks.
Also party bags, bath bombs go down a treat, there is a lady on ebay that sells hand made and for sensitive skins that come in love heart shapes pink and added glitter. i got some pink material like u would use for weddings to make the little almond posey, and pink ribbon. high school musical stuff is also a winner and may be a mini lip balm and funky pencils with fluffy end. I used to spend roughly a £1.00 a bag and got some fab stuff xxxx

I used to do these...and my advise would be to ditch the goodie bags....1) they work out expensive 2) parents still provide them anyway.

I can honestly say i hated doing them....not meaning to offend anyone but for me i felt like if i wanted to be took seriously in this industry was kids parties the way to go...??...i felt not.
