Kindle virgin

I love, love, love my Kindle. Couldn't live without it now. I use it far more than my iPad.

Best books read so far:

Girly: One Day by David Nicholls
Thriller: Dead Simple by Peter James
Serious fiction: We Need to Talk About Kevin by Lionel Shrivers (really difficult to get into at first, but stick with it)

I read nearly 2 books per week at the moment.

Stephiebaby, if your daughter likes reading, she will love the Kindle.

I use my kindle more than iPad too! I had my kindle first though, not sure if that's made a difference.


Also, my 7 year old niece live to read my kindle too.

So glad I have seen this thread.
I'm considering buying a kindle but don't know which one.
I need one that reads the text aloud to me. Also need it for audio books.
Any ideas?

My daughter got a kindle when she was 10 and loves it.

Anyone who likes detective/suspense should try Kerry Wilkinson's Jessica Daniel's series. Fantastic!

My biggest tip for the kindle it don't forget you can get a sample downloaded for free to see whether or not you like a book.
