Hi guys, just wondering, is it ok to use Wella's permanent colours with Pastel developer if you want to darken but require no white coverage?

So for example if I want to lowlight a blonde with 7/31 illumina... Can I mix it with pastel instead of 20 vol since I don't want any lift or white coverage?

Xx

Yeah but I wouldn't do it with kp, you're getting no benefits from KP compared to colour touch.

Whereas with illumina you get the natural sheerness.

I quite often use pastel with kp when toning but I tend to only use it with illumina for depth. But mostly I use colourtouch.

Would you mix equal parts with illumina or would you use 1:2 ratio?

Pastel is such a confusing peroxide, just make 3% wella, c'mon

It is! I think they have a 3% in America its so unfair lol! X

Pastel is 1.9%
