l&p over gel?????

i have been wearing gel (nsi balance) for about 3 weeks i am due to rebalance my nails tomorrow.
i know you can overlay l&p nails with gel but i was wondering if you can overlay gel with l&p.
if i buff my gel nails thin enough would i be able to put l&p over the top of the thinned out gel
i get so bored easily i want to do myself boogie nights tips.
if i can what would be the prep over the gel before putting the l&p over.

hi jo,

if you thin the nail down and prep the natural nail in your usual way you should be able to overlay with l&p no problem
