I have recently trained in l&p using Milleniun and am wanting to move away from their products but not sure what brand to go for.

The main thing that is on my mind is that with Millenium l&p it can be worked for a while which is good for me as i'm not speedy, especially when doing french!

So can anyone advise me of a brand that would be good for me?

There are loads of various suppliers for L&P, but you will only get the best from a product when training has been done.

Personally for me, i recommend EZ Flow as you have to work quite wet with this product, it has a reasonable working time and they have loads of various colours, glitters, pink and white variations to cover anything you wish to do.

Thing is, you won't know if it is the one for you untill you try it, so i advise you get some try me kits from various suppliers.

I would say try either EZ Flow, Creative or even NSI Simplicite, which also has a longer setting time.

Hope this helps.

Thanks hun. I have finnished my training and am hoping to do a conversion course sometime this year.
I will get a Ezflow try me kit, I have a CND one but haven't tried it yet.

The only reason I am asking is cos I have heard that some brands you have to work very fast with :irked:

Yes some are faster than others, but i do know someone who found L&P hard to get to grips with, but the NSI Simplicite was one she could use.

Good luck hun.

Well I suggest that you do!

I just did the ezflow conversion, i found it really nice to work with my smile lines are so much better now.You can work the product for a while so it gives me time to get my smiles just right. x

Mandy let me know what you think of CND, im doing a conversion course next month. x

Well I suggest that you do!
I have just done and I always find it hard to do my own nails.
Anyway i am very happy. So happy I may even show you a photo of what I have done!!

I was very surprised as I thought that I would have to work very fast with this kit but I didn't.
Thing is I don't have CND training so can I still purchase their products?

My nails are shocking after training but this is the result.

I think that's pretty good!! Well done!

I picked up some Millenium l & p at the show to play with for nail art designs - is it on the wetter side for ratio?

it is hard as a newbie trying different products without the specific education behind you. I'd suggest carrying on with your millenium for practice - get yourself to the next nail show(olympia in may) and you can see all the ranges for nowt and speak to their educators
good luck

You can buy all CND products without CND training except L+P and Brisa. The Conversion courses include a full kit so the training is basically free.......

It doesn't seem wet it just seems nasty! The colour powders seem ok, we're using them for media nails but I can't wait to convert.

Cat is good thanks, he's lost quite a bit of weight due to the diet change but he's getting there and his bald patches are growing back too

Haha we can be the chunky dunk twins! lmao.

Looks like this is they way I'll be going. I just feel like I'm making things harder for myself by using what I am.

The nail you did with the CND products looks lovely...really simple and elegant...great length too....

I use CND products and they are a breeze to work with...I am not fast whatsoever...and I have enough time for moving my L&P about...even in the Spanish heat...!!!!

I have also tried Entity...and again it works great...

Good luck xxxxx

have you considered young nails?

its easy to use and long lasting.

one of the things i like is the fact it offers 2 speeds of setting. core which is the slower set and speed for when you are more experienced. a really big range of pink and white colours and lots of glitters and colour powders.
very good value for money too and always good customer service.
i do believe there are trial kits available.

Thanks hun, I thought it was a bit pants cos I did it on myself and I have issues with working on my own nails
But it was more the fact that I had been able to give myself a french look so easily.

I think I need to come and try CND out in some heat, you know just in case we ever get and sun in England!
