LA Tan - any good??

Hi all, sorry if this has been talked about already but I am so new to the salon geek!!!

Been offered someones old spray tan kit and they have 6 litres of LA TAN. Just wondered if it is any good or not?

Hey Emma, I use there solution and machine. My customers love it, the colours are great they last the longest than any other solition i have tried. I Checked out there website to get more info on them before i bought. The guys in customer service are relly helpful which is unsual!! xx
PS- I have noticed it has been talked about quite alot on her check out other peeps comments x

Hi emma i have been using la tan now for a long while and use the 8,10,12, gold and thw new 18 (disco) which has just been released and they are fab !!!! the best tanning product i have ever come across with best results and is green based so cant go that shade of orange that people so desperately try to avoid when having a spray tan .... i would definately reccomend snapping ur friends hand off xx

Hi Emma,

just as a precaution,and before "snapping ur friends hand off" it would be worth checking
1) how old is this machine ..is it fully functional and is there a warranty
2) How old is the solution also of course is well worth checking

thanks - i have already seen the invoices for all the products - the machine still has just under 6 months warranty and products are all unopened and were bought just under a month!! did wonder why she was selling but she says she just can't be bothered doing it. she did the training and her hubby bought her the stuff to get her started!!
Thought it may tie in well with my nails business!!

wow how dark does the 18 go?? which do you think is the best/most popular colour? There is a wide market for mobile tanning in my area and can't wait to get started :lol:

As long as you can get the machine fixed if it goes wrong and its a good price then at least if you dont think the solution is the best you can save it for practising on your boyfriend:lol:.
It's a fab treatment to add to your nails, hope you can carry on enjoying it.:hug:

Well sounds like a good deal and you certainly seem to have done your homework and will be a good fit along side your nail business....just make sure you also undergo training before offering this to the paying general public.

yes i'm all booked in for my training and i can't wait to get started!!!

Decided that i will see how i go on with LA Tan and if push comes to shove it will always come in handy for the selfish members of my family and friends that want and expect freebies!! although they never het it with me - everything cost a fiver lol

my mate uses it and thinks its great , she has a lot of spray tan clients so it cant be that bad :lol: i use tantrick and am happy with that x

Hey hey! Ive used LA Tan for approx 18 months now and its FAB!!! theyve brought a new colour out recntly too called disco!! I dont know why everyone goes for different makes and then applies 2 coats to achieve a darker colour as theres loads of colours in the LA Tan and the new disco is proving popular with my customers! Prices are great, fast delivery and brill results, Im a perfectionist when it comes to tans and I'd defo recomend it. xxx

Got my training on Monday now and getting the equipment on Saturday so all is looking rosy!!

Even got my first Tanning Party organised!! although did tell them to let me practice a bit first lol

Surely its not all that hard to spray tan??? Any tips and tricks would be really great

Can i ask a silly question? does it go orange when its first applied??

he he. It doesnt go orange more a golden brown (depending on what solution you use) i use the perfect 10, the gold and the new LA DISCO. Unlike some like that give you 'ive just been tangooed look' la's doesnt. I have even had some clients who have gone out on a night out after i have just sprayed them..Good luck :lol:
