Got a little lab puppy about 3 weeks ago. Hes lovley sooo cute. His dad was an andrex puppy!
But I'm having major 'hair pulling out' problems with loo training.
I have tried everything, took him out every half hour, spent all day out side, praised him when he went to the loo outside and gave him a treat, told him off when he went indoors and took him to his bed as a punishment. But alas nothing seems to work!!!
I'll take him outside for an hour, he will still come into my house and do it in their, going through kitchen roll like no-ones business!!
Apparently the breeder did no training with him, he used to just get out of his bed and go on the kennel floor, my mum has a choc lab (one for u chocolate!!) and his breeder paper trained him, so all my mum had to do was put the puppy training pads outside the back door, and he would ask to go out!
I swear, my puppy must be all looks and no brains! He just can't grasp it!
I'm feed up of living in a house of pee! (incidently i'm trying to potty train my 2 year old son, ne help and ideas with that would be a ppreciated, he sees the dog go indoors and he claps and cheers and says well done puppy boy. and then does it him self! At the end of my tether!!!)
Any help from people who have been through this puppy/toddler maddness would b much appreciated!!!!
