Hi geeks

I would like to try using lace, can i use it over polish? if so how? Or would it be better over L&P, if so do I use resin to stick? Never used or bought this (resin) before so a gentle nudge in the right direction would be much appreciated as to what to buy and how to use.
The design i have in mind is red underneath with black lace on top.

I wouldn't do that on nail varnish only, because it won't stay too long.
prepare your lace first - measure and cut , apply very thin layer of clear acrylic on the nail bed and tip to prevent discoloration from red acrylic; then apply red colored acrylic and your lace on wet acrylic. you can press that using your fingers, some metal tool or tinfoil - take quite large piece, place over lace and press pulling tinfoil down. remove before acrylic sets.then clear powder overlay.

if you are using a polish first, apply a clear top coat set lace into it whilst wet and them add another 2 coats of clear polish, this is more tempory than above but still works well.
