Large gems and gold chains for my nail art course, where can I buy them?

Ok i doing my level 3 nail art course and for my final project i need certain items like quite large gems and gold chains ect now for some reson i cant find these any were i know kawaii nails sell the gems but i think there already attached to the nails whichis of no use to me .can some plz help coz i cant afford to to fly to japan lol:cry:

have you tried looking at jewellery making and sewing sites...large flat backed gems can be bought as 'embellishments' for clothing etc. And chain can be bought in many shapes and colours for jewellery making/beading....have a look on ebay.

I covered this course in college a while ago and we used large flat backed gems and chains from a craft/card making store and a shop called the 'Range' if you have one near to you. Ask your tutor also if you are having diffficulty finding things, if the tutor has covered this course before then they will have ideas on where to get supplies.

As your in london i can tell you some where realllly good, go to covent garden (picadilli line on tube) then go to neals yard , theres a bead shop there they got all sorts thats perfect and they have the very thin chains colered wiere flat sones , semi pressues all sorts, i even got some good boxes to keep my nail art in from hear . hears a link to where i mean x hope it helps Bead Aura, Neal's Yard - Randomness Guide to London

Craft and art supply stores. I found my gold chain at the dollar store in the craft section. It worked just fine:green:
