Hi all,

I have a client with really, really, really big toenails - especially on the "thumb". I don't know how to put the gel on correctly so that it does not crack on her toes. All the other toes are perfect but the largest one keeps cracking.
I have not had any problems with my other clients about this.

Have you had any experiences with really big toenails? I would like to know should I put more gel or less gel or what.

Please help if you have any tips

Not a gel geek but could it be that her big toe nail is too long & is bashing on her shoes? Or maybe she is playing a lot of sports/running & her big toes get a hammering in her sport shoes?

my advice would be to keep the nails short and try a soak off gel.
a soak off can flex much more and is ideal for toes.

Thank you so much for your advice.
Her nails are not long but just broad ( big feet too ). Never seen so broad nails before. I will try a more flexibile gel.
