Hello ladies.

I think I'm doing this right - sorry if I'm not but I'm a newbie!

I did my first set of 3d lashes yesterday and they looked beautiful. Im still practicing so tbey arent perfect. My only concern that bugged me is that when my client is looking at me they seem to sit low and you can't notice them. I've included a photo for you to see which is her view. Am I using the wrong curl? I don't feel like I know enough about the curls and weights but I've been looking up online. My course was not satisfactory and I am going to retrain soon with somebody else but in the mean time I want to keep practicing.

I used noir lashes at 11mm and they was 0.10 which I've seen online are too heavy? Could this be the issue?

Thanks for any advice and help and critique ladies.

**note - I can't add the photo she sent me as it's too large. The one above is what I've taken***

This is her view. They don't seem to be lifted well like I wanted and expected.

ok hope this helps 3D lashes with size 10 i would say was to heavy if you work it out 3 lashes each weighing in at 10 means ur lash is wearing a size 30 way to heavey for a natural lash me myself would drop to a 7 even thats making it 21 weight on the lash ur length is good its just the weight ... they did look lovely though :) ,, hope this helps xxxx

Thanks! I always appreciate a reply! Do you think that they didn't curl like I imagined because the length was too short? They're a C curl so I expected to be able to see them when I looked at her but they looked quite low? I'm not sure I'm explaining myself well lol xxx

Like you I wasn't very happy with my course and am doing my own researching .. I found this picture very helpful .. Maybe the D lash would be more noticeable for her.

Thanks, that's a good photo to keep. I didn't even know about a L curl! I'm just officially starting my own business so I need to get some practice in ASAP :)

My training course lasted about 2 hours and I only applied about 2O lashes to each eye. I can't believe the price I paid for that! Xx

The lashes with the straight base like the l's are for overhanging eyelids I believe X

Yes I think a lot of courses are like this, you just have to practice practise practise, I wish I'd have researched more instead of taking the course where I did my level 2&3 in beauty .. I would have looked into a bigger brand .. I still may go back and do a conversion course if I can xx hindsight aye!

The weight you used would have held ur lash lower, try the c curl with a lighter lash before trying the D curl, but no reason you cant try the D curl also do you have a head to practice on ? i did so many tests on my beauty head.. Wow only a two hour course i thought mine was bad and that was an all day course lol xx

3D Lashes as in volume? You should never use 0.10 in volume really. They will be to heavy. Drop down to 0.7 - If these are C curl then do CC or D curl next time - then she will be able to see them :)
