Hi all

A completly general question - would you say doing lash extensions has transformed your business, regardless of brand?

Are they popular?

Do you have many problems?

Are you doing over 5 sets a week?

What do you charge?

In hindsight would you train in them?

Please PM if you don't want to answer on the thread

Thanks

A general answer with no brand names lol

They can make the world of difference to your business if you advertise to the right clients,

they are very popular, and not just with the young, a good set can take years off the older eye,
a bad set can make them look like a drag queen,

you have to educate your clients in the aftercare just like we do with nails, but all problems are avoided if they follow the guidelines,

i don't have the time to do over 5 sets a week with everything else i do but if i had more free time then yes i could easily do that amount,
i have people travel quite some miles for a set,

i charge £100 per full set

yes i would still train in them, (in fact i have many times to try out the others)

hth

Hi all

A completly general question - would you say doing lash extensions has transformed your business, regardless of brand?
I would say it has added value to my business. I don't think the brand is important to the client, however, choosing the right company to train with is. Marketing is important, I tried with Nouveau and I got a few clients through their online listing. Their marketing materials are excellent. Customer service hmmm...............................

Are they popular?
Yes if you market it to the right clients.

Do you have many problems?
No, it is about educating the clients and having good communication to manage their expectations. If the clients don't look after them well it would not last long.

Are you doing over 5 sets a week?
The most I have done is 3 full sets a week. However, I do other beauty treatments.

What do you charge?
Full set £110 for 2 hours or from £40 for 45mins

So after nouveau who did you go with...I know I said not brand specific but you've hit the nail on the head for me!

At the moment a mixture of Nouveau and Flirties.

We do them. Two of my therapists are fantastic at them. They are not a big seller and are not in any way a core business just a nice little extra treatment.
