Wonder if anyone can help .

We have been doing lashes for 2 yrs now and our techs are getiing faster .
How many lashes as a rule is everyone putting on full set and half hr and on hr touch ups.

As we get quicker we are using more lashes and this is impacting on profit . Wonder if anyone else has considered this .

Also who are you all using as suppliers - best in terms of quality/price

When you are new to lashes the norm is around 35 lashes per eye but then as you get more experienced and quicker you can be applying around 120 per eye and giving your clients a great looking set of lashes,
on the touch ups you should be applying the amount that is needed to make them look like a new set again and this all depends on how many you have applied in the first place,

i don't see that it can impact on your profits in a bad way as when you can apply lots of lashes on the one set this set will look fab and bring in more clients, this is one point,
and the other point is
for the cost of 3 different size lashes and 1 glue you should be getting around 75 to 100 full sets out of this quantity,
do you have the treatment priced right or are you doing them really cheap ?

hello

I have done a nouveau lash course and am currently getting on about 40-50 lashes in per eye , ( when i started in nov i was getting in about 15!) I am aiming to get in around 60-70 per eye as i improve and then the try and get in as many as i can as louise states. As I say though, I am not long qualified and have only done about 20 sets since i passed the course at the end of november and i know i can get more in as i improve.

we charge £75 for full set
£16 for half hr and £32 for one hr

I was wondering what the standard is beacause as we get faster and faster our profit goes down .

we were thinking of maybe - 70 lash per eye for full set

then on touch up say max x amount of lashes in for a set price then anything over charge per lash .

this may prevent clients with few lashes left booking in for 30 mins with faster tech when they need a new set

would welcome your thoughs

also is there a web site for frlirties

your prices are ok and you should be making a good profit from this no matter how many lashes you apply.

as long as the set looks good on each client when you have finished 70 should be fine,
unless you have another tech nearby that fits over 100 per eye because then the clients will notice the difference.

yes a lot of salons price them this way and charge from 50p to £1.50 per lash, works well.

this may prevent clients with few lashes left booking in for 30 mins with faster tech when they need a new set.

if they need a new set then they should by rights be paying for a new set not an infill price

would welcome your thoughs hth
