I have had some clients say that their lashes came off in a few days.
Please can someone help and point me on track if i am doing something wrong..
I do the following

1) stick down bottom lashes
2) use Primer on top lashes to remove oils
3) isolate a lash
4) run lash extension through glue and place onto the isolated lash
5) finish with sealer

help?

Is it all of your clients or just a few? Did you go through the aftercare with them ie, not using any oil based products and being careful around water and drying eyes etc?

Your procedure sounds fine to me, a lot of the time I wouldn't worry, it can be the clients who are doing something wrong not you.

Also I'd check your glue/primer hasn't gone off, some of them have a shelf life of 3-6 months.

HTH ;)

which glue are you using?

Hi!
When you have primed the lashes, do you make sure they are dry before you start applying the lashes:?: I use my little air puffer to make sure they are dry , I  using this it's great, ideal for drying & helping to set the lashes! :D

Im having same problem 1st time they lasted 9 days , then another lady a week now my mate said her left is ok but he right is baldish after 3 days im getting the right hump and I have done the same as you.
I was using marvel glue now the eyelash emporium super stuff im not sure where it going wrong x

Im trained Lash Perfect, but I now use the Flirties eyelash glue as it was highly recommended to me! Glad I got it, its very good :D. Bonus aswell the glue lasts 6 months after opening as the lash perfect one only lasted 3 months. Maybe you should get yourself a better quality glue its worth paying more sometimes, also ring up who you trained with and ask them to give you advice:?: Dont beat yourself up about it if you know you are doing everything correctly, some clients tell you fibs, when really they just dont look after them...! good luck x

I worked at a Salon where we had the same problem.
As well as doing ur steps correctly at the salon theres also some rules to take home.

Some certain moisturisers such as oil based can detach the lashes.
Also its best not to shower for the first 12 hrs and excessive rubbing of these eyelashes can also detach them.

Just make them up a pamphlet or go through the after care steps with them.

Hope that helps
:)

Thanks everyone.
I use the new Flirties expert strength which i love.
I havent used my puffer dryer thingy (technical term there) once I have applied primer so I will do that.
I have the flirties aftercare leaflets which i hand out, but I wasnt aware about some moisturisers.

its the eyemakeup remover pads people use... its very oily xx

If clients are using under eye cream that is very oily too and can make the top lashes come off.

Also remind your customers that most sun creams contain oils, one of my ladies used loads and lost all her lashes!
