I just finished my training with LCN. I love most of the products, but hate the prices of things...specially tips. I want to phase out of LCN and into Brisa. I have heard its a really good line. I still have my LCN test in a few weeks, but was wondering if I could use different tips using the LCN line. I also am having trouble with the H support. Do I need to always do a H support?

Hey there.

Yes, LCN is a tad pricey. But you get what you pay for. I'm an LCN nail tech but I also trained with NSI about two years ago.

I would recommend you perhaps getting into learning forms. They cut a good chunk of cost that you would be spending on tips. It also lessens your service time if you're good.

I use both LCN and Brisa gels. I find the white sculpting brisa gel to be far superior in workability, while I am a devotee to LCN's clear builder gel.

As for the H support, you don't always have to do it. The reason they teach it that way is so that you have a thicker apex and support in the stress area. I don't make an H support then fill in my T zones. I do my entire clear builder gel in one step. But I always make sure it looks like I've done the two steps. Get what I mean?

If you want to chat more about this, you can PM me. :D
