Hi!
I have just had a lady e-mail me saying she currently has SPD and is on crutches because of it. She has some water retention in her feet and legs, and has asked if I would be able to massage them for her to try and reduce the swelling. I am not trained in massage during pregnancy, have only given pedicures to pregnant clients with a very gentle, basic massage, do you think I would be safe to do this for her?

She is 37 weeks, has no other health problems and the swelling is not due to pre- eclampsia.

Just want to double check what you guys thinks before I give her an answer.

Any advice appreciated.
Thanks

Check with your insurance company hun. She's very far gone, and although I can't see any issues, its best to be safe...just in case!

Thanks profbeau! That's my first port of call tomorrow, I can't see any problem in it either, but as you say, it's best to be safe x
