hi guys,

i have been reading about leighton dennys products and have started to be very interested in them! Does any one use them? if so what are your views on the products? Are they nice products to use? Is the polish lasting?

I haven't used any of the products but I did request some information on stocking them in salon about 6 months ago as i had heard so many good things about them and the opening order was pretty big for a nail range, over £1000 and they require at least four nail stations, so if you are a one man band its unlikely they'd supply you. They told me they mainly supply spas and large exsclusive salons, so I didn't get any further than that !

Wont sell to the little person but will go straight into the big stores hmmm.

I know business is business - but selling to boots is not exclusive.

Have to say - they are good products tho.

i am distributer in ireland for leighton denny products they are fabulous no other products like them.
the treatment products are my favorite brilliance, biobuild and hydraflex they can repair even the most brittle,yellow or flat nails and his legendary crystal files and buffers are amazing.
he is so involved in the production of every polish treatment and file he is role model to all and so ambitious really there is no one like him and that 100% reflects in his products

I think he does pop on now and again. I don't think he thinks of us as too small - he gave me a break when no one else would. He gives so much to the industry, in particular new technicians starting out.

He has done so well for himself and so much for the industry. Having said that, it would be great to get his input on the board - now that would be intersting x

That is interesting to hear christine.....as i feel that to go on a shopping channel to sell products is in my eyes a loss to someones ethics and credibility

Perhaps once upon a time but you can buy EVERYTHING on e-bay nowadays. We are always told we have to move with the times and I think that is what Leighton is doing.

Would you say the same about all the other companies and people who use shopping channels to promote their products?

He has retained his credibility without selling his soul. He has maintained his ethics whereas a lot of industry leaders have not.

I seem to remember a geek speaking about leightons work on here a while back...he came on and invited her to london to shadow him, she had a brilliant time with him.....and said what a nice man he was.....

Someone at there head office, I never even got as far as a rep coming out ! I was quite unimpressed tbh, I thought a minimum of four nail stations was strange as some large salons and even a spa I worked at only had four nail stations !

I does seem like an awful lot. They are definatly not that big. Strange how some of these brands want to be exclusive but are splashed over QVC!

It looks like a lovely range though
