Following on from Gillians thread about the site being very quiet atm I thought it would be a good idea :idea:
If each and everyone of us geeks either asked one very valid question or something useful to help others each day either in the nail, hair or skin section
So get your thinking caps on and add a tip to help others, Or ask something that you have always wanted to post but felt daft asking We can all learn lots from this :hug:

Or we could have one of Sandi's famous nails only days but extend it to be Salon only - ie. only posts which would fit into either the nails, hair or skin forums and not chit chat - only for a day!

positive learning curve for me is reading & printing off the tutorials on nail enhancements and trying them on freddy(training hand) on application\maintainence\nail art inspiration...i love geegs(gigi) tutorial pages & many of the girls on the site that does these wonderful nail artistry has been an inspiration...i am re-training in nail enhancements gel\acrylic\fibreglass\silk\sculpting in gel\acrylic using freeforms and it has been my biggest fear & dilemas of will do well ..will i have confidence to do this ect..ect.. hence fear out the window after reading postive tutorials.

colin maybe you can do a quid pro quo quiz type thing on everything that has been asked so far to do with skin,hair,nails,worse scenarios ect..even throw a bit in about does nessie still exist

Good idea Lel!!

Ok my question is this;

I have put a few hair extensions in (bonds) the colour match was spot on and its hair I have used before without problems, my hair is blonde, light blonde , now some of the extensions have taken on a lightly orange (pale!!) shade? I dont use any hair products, and use tigi shampoo and conditioner, bonds only been in about 2 weeks!! Why would this happen??

their was a thread recently about heating wheat bags up in a towel cabi.

here's my tip:

get a luxury flannel, fold it in half and sew 2 ends up, you will be left with a long mitt.
now add your wheat bag into it, and heat it up in the cabi.
You can then place it directly onto skin and not worry about it getting tainted with oils and it is more hygienic as you can wash it after use.

use flannels within your colour scheme and it looks everso professional.
