Having a problem with a client who pulls a lot of warmth. I use Wella KP and I've tried both 7/1, 7/2, and a combination of the two to counteract the warmth but it doesn't quite cut it with her hair. Does anyone have a recommendation for an extra ashy color line? I was considering trying Fanola 7.11. But I'm open to suggestions of other color lines.

Ps. she doesn't want to use bleach in her hair, so lightening her hair with bleach then toning back down isn't an option.

Thanks!

Thanks Krisko! I'm looking for the ashiest hair color line out there. Something that even works on Asian hair. Lifting it to a level 7 without warmth. I've tried Keune before but didn't get the results I hoped for.

That`s impossible in a single process

Your first priority is to educate your client about the benefits of bleach over tint! Until you do this, anything you try will be half baked.

Krisko: Not impossible. I've seen it done with Fanola color:

Before I try Fanola I was curious if anyone knew of other super ashy lines.

AcidPerm: It's an all over color. In order to use the bleach method I'd have to lift all of her hair with bleach. She's not interested.

So a /1 in Wella is to soften not to neutralise. Your looking to get rid of orange on a level of a 7 so would need a blue /8 colour.

Goldwell have highlifts for dark hair with will lift and tone they are called neutralights

Illumina 7/81?

Seriously? That's just a YouTube video.
You haven't actually seen it done at all.
Editing is everything, so you should always be cautious about accepting claims at face value and do strand tests first or a trial run on a mannequin head.
