Hi all, i'm looking for help. I recently qualified using creative nails, i love the products and everything the company stands for.

Anyway im having problems with lifting on some of my clients. I work full time and im only doing about four clients on an evening. On two of the clients the nails are staying on for about 5-6 weeks and in one cases growing off. For the other two they are lifting within days.

I am applying the same prep to all and using white tips (creative) with clear powder (creative also). My mixed ratio is pretty good thanks to attending "the event" (amazing it was too). So im at a loss really.

Any ideas???????

Also i would like to try encasing glitter into the nail tips, how do i do that?

Thanks Sara xx Happy Christmas to all xx

If it's lifting. First port of call is PREP, do you use CND's cuticle remover? It's amazing how much you can get off.
Some people have oilier nails than others. Make sure you remember your primer and try getting some 'Nailfresh' to extra de-hydrate the natural nail.

hth xx

Also make sure you have removed all traces of cuticle remover or this will cause lifting.

Im using CND cutical eraser, do you think it would be better with the remover?

Also i didn't realise that CND have a primer, if so what is it called?

Thanks for your help on this one, your all stars xx :green:

Primer is only required if you use CND Radical liquid. Both Retention+ and Moxie liquids are primerless liquids. Have a look through the manual which came with the kit you got at the Event as there is lots of useful information on this and also the recommended prep procedure.

Cheers,

Actually they are all primer 'optional'.

If you are having lifting problems with only 2 clients and none of the others, and you feel your prep is the same on all of them. Then maybe you do need a prep booster like CND acid free primer for these 2.

I would give it a try if I were you.

As far as the Cuticle Eraser, during prep, that was always what I used, I only ever used the Cuticle remover ( or whatever it is called now?) on severe nail biters and on toenails. It is down to personal preference, and I preferred Eraser. HTH

Try to scrubfresh really scrubbing the nail plate for a few seconds each and work on the nails shortly after. Use non aiid primerifns ann Make sure youraplicction is flush to the natural nail with your mm gap

Make sure you are picking up the corret sized beads for diff sized fingers - sounds obvious but it is sometimes overlooked

hope that helps rememberit is only 2 clients - by the way do not let your clients go so long between maintenance as it puts pressure on the natural nail.
