Hello everyone, I'm new on here but now that I've found you you'll be inundated with question from me I'm sure!
So on with the question, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but after reading through some threads I've noticed everyone saying that at a 2 week refill there should be no lifting? When I trained I was told there would always be lifting and so when my clients return I'm not fazed when I see it but now I know there shouldn't be any I don't know what I'm doing wrong? I don't ever get any lifting with gel and do all the same prep, the product never touches the skin so what could it be?
Thanks for reading

Hiya hun, if you were taught there would be no lifting then how are you to know any diffrent. Although it dont matter what system you use ( although it does help an awful lot by having good products) it's the technique you use and how you were taught, what is your routine from start to finish inc prep,,,

Thanks for replying. I use NSI attraction. I sanitise the hands, push back the cuticles and remove anything from the nail plate then buff off the shine from the plate. After all the prep I remove the excess dust with cleanse, then go over the nails with pure plus and lastly the attraction primer. By the time I've done all 10 nails I wait a few more seconds (because when I trained I was told you should wait about 30 second for it to dry) and then start applying my beads.
Another thing, when I use the coloured powders (Also by NSI) they never lift?

I only ever do one hand at time, as when you scrub fresh it shoulb be done again after about 30mins i think,,, I dont use primer but when I need to I would only ever work on 3 fingers at a time.

I usually prep both hands by removing cuticle, getting client wahs hands, then remove shine, brush or wash, then scrub fresh really well atleast 5sec per nail right in side walls and cuticle area. Then apply your form or tip, and away you go ( apply primer after scrub fresh if using only zone3)

If you touch or blow or get dust on nail plate this will cause breakdown, I know you use nsi but did you do your education with them??? xx

Sorry, Fi I never meant what was interpreted, I know some systems require primer and some it is optional. I took it that she would be taught this with her educator as I was with CND,,, as you know I was taught that my system was optional if client was lift prone( I still have full bottle nearly lol) xxx

(1) Are you using the cuticle remover cream sparingly? remove with Pure Plus or liquid soap and water
(2) Remove excess dust with a dust brush (a plastic one that can be disinfected) NOT cleanse (cleanse is to be used to remove the inhibition layer from gel)
(3) Ensure you scrub the Pure Plus like removing nail enamel, ensure the cuticle line and the sidewalls are free of dust and oils - wait and watch the nail plate dehydrate - a chalky white appearance.

(4) Why do your colour powders not lift - I would suggest watch your mix ratio - you could be working too wet with the pink, the highly pigmented colour powders tend to absorb more of the liquid.

Hope this helps

Thanks for all the advice everyone, I've already put it into practice so in two weeks you'll either have me thanking you again or pulling my hair out haha!

Hi Hun, i'm an NSI geek but rather than go through it all with you take a look at this site Nail Angel: Home. It's an NSI tutorial site with top educators that you'll find very helpful.:)
