Hi!

Recently I have some lifting problems but only with some of my clients. I used at first acrylic, then gels, after that a combination of those and the nails still lifting up at cuticles. My client does only housework and looks after her kids. I don't have this problem with any of my clients, so I'm sure it's not because of bad nail prep. I have to mention she has very thin, weak nails. What product should I use?
And what do you think about: could it be that a woman's nails does not tolerate the nail product? I mean any kind of it? I'm not speaking about allergy, just lifting.
And have you ever noticed if you are under medication, your nails can lift earlier?

Thanks for your help!

Can you clarify for me what you mean by using a combination of acrylic and gel?

First I applied acrilyc 'till 2/3 of the nailplate, and the fill the remaining 1/3 of the nail. Or I do the free edge with acrylic and fill it up with gel. With another client it works well.

Really I've never heard of anyone doing this before. I didn't realise it would even work lol.

Not me either... Would think that the difference in fleksibillity would cause a weak spot where the two join. Though L&P and gel can be used on top of eachother...

Back to topic, I have seen a few times that medication can cause lifting, so might be it?
