hi everyone,
has anybody used or is using light reactive nail varnish.
i did my nails today and used a boots 17 one called peek a boo.
when applied it is a translucent pearl colour, then when i went outside in the sun my nails changed to a mauve/light plum colour.
amazing or what, when i went back in they went back to pearl.
only draw back is if you apply a clear top coat they dont change as well as if you leave the clear top coat off.
other than that i was well impressed.
would be interested to hear other folks thoughts on this type of varnish

Toma do (or did) colour changing varnishes. Some were heat sensitive so that the body of the nail was one colour and the free edge was another. They also brought out a 3 in 1 one which changed to a different set of colours in sunlight.

They are good fun, however, I did have some problems with the 3 in 1 one causing yellowing of the L&P overlay.

hi thanks for that will see if my l&P yellows, before i choose to apply it to a client,
i always try new stuff on myself first to see how it reacts, im expecting this to chip as i have no top coat on.
but time will tell i suppose.
