No professional I know uses it.

You 're not thinking right. You should be concentrating on not having the lift rather than trying to disguise lifting with line out which is only adhesive and which yellows and can be the cause of green nail IOW a bactgerial infection.

Line OUt is a poor substitute for good work and perfect preparation which will stop the lifting problem and then you will not have any need to use it.

I bought this product when I trained with NSI. We were told at training that it is not to be used on lifting and just to use on any fine lines on the fill lne.

I used it a few times after my training but then found I didn't really need it as if you have no lifting and prepare for a fill then there is no line to 'line out'!

I still have a nearly full bottle of this and never use it now.

I also used it in the beginning, it does what it says.

If there is a tiny bit of lift that you cant get at with your file it will take care of it, however I dont use it anymore and I get all the lifting with my file.

Hopefully one day i will have no lfting:cry:

I do use line out if a client asks for it and also if they have a thin nail bed its seems to reduce filling , 'well in my view', but i could be wrong eh'?

Sorry but why would a client ask for line out?? I for one have never used it an never will, even if my client asked me too,, hey would you put your hand in the fire,,,, lol :)

Why if a client has thin nail bed would this help? surely if you are using corrrect abrasive and not touching natural nail plate you have no worrys.

Cheating and cutting corners will only cause future problems, if you want to obtain something in life you have to learn the hard way and may seem long but hey, you learn alot more :)
who says life is easy?? xxxx

im sorry but i am thinking right! i asked a question about line out, i wasnt thinking about lifting it was more the fill line and if it worked.

I'm not sure that you are thinking right.

A fill line is lifted product!! That is why they are still white. Fill lines are caused when you try to remove lifted product and haven't got rid of all the lifting (in fact usually you have caused more). Usually caused by incorrect filing when trying to remove lifted material. If you are left with fill lines then you haven't removed the lifted product correctly. Do a search on 'chasing the line' and you can learn how to do it and have no fill lines.

But of course if you had no lifting in the first place then you would have no fill line to try and hide. solve the lifting problem and you solve the lines.

I know someone is using Line Out for the fill. I think this product just make you feel better that client won't see the lift line after fill. Hiding the line is what it does, but if client doesn't have any lifting from acrylic, then you don't need the Line Out. Also sometime it make the acrylic not adhesive good to the nails.

WOW.. never know line out was a bad thing, i just use it as a just in case where a bit of lifting has occured and dont want to overfile.. will now think about not use it ,, thanx

Line Out is a magical proprietary formula that has been widely used by nail professionals around the world for well over a decade!!!!
I am fanatical about performing proper preparation to avoid lifting. However, when you have that client that stretches her appointments an additional week, or no matter what you do, they tend to get liftting. Have you ever felt that no matter how much you file around the regrowth area there are those ugly jagged fill lines?
Line Out is the perfect solution, it magical seals those ugly lines, is not damaging, does not yellow, and is compatible with ALL acrylic or gel systems.
It is a unique formula and not a glue or an adhesive, and a little goes a long way. It certainly helps cut back on all that filing time, and is less damaging to the natural nail as well.
