the therapist was lovely tho, i couldnt fault her in any way, i think she actually felt my pain, god love her

I totaly sympathise with you it does bloody hurt!but I promise that day by day the soreness gets better.Did you have the blush in the actual lip as well as the liner?I go for my top up on friday for eyebrows and lips.I wont be having the blush though as they score your lips first to get the anisthetic in.

Hiya

They sound fab

please follow the after care instructions...regarding UV/makeup/healing process etc
we do not live in a sterile enviroment..so take care of you lips

the swelling should be very little after a couple of hrs...lips take around 2-4wks to heal dependant on age etc

NEVER PICK WHEN THEY START TO PEEL OR DRY UP

best of luck send some pics

yes this is the norm, it does worry me a little... I have done countless lips and have never had someone swell so much that they wont go out for a few days.

when you had the patch test, what did they test?.. what I am saying is how many things did they test?

how hard was the person? at the time? you should never feel more than a mild scratching.

Hiya

I do permanent makeup
got in with my local dentist who does a gentle lip numb before lip tattoo

Glad its settling down - looks really good though.

When I had mine done I looked like a drag artist - I had swollen dark lips, really dark scary eyebrows and swollen eyes too! To make matters worse, before I had my eyes done (and they were all done on the same day) I went to get a drink and something to eat and couldn't work out why I kept getting strange looks in the cafe, until I went to the loo! I scared myself!!!!
:eek: The hardest thing was not being able to kiss the kids for 3 days

Hi Glynis
Just a quick note

Don't over apply the lip balms or healing creams, they can slow down the healing process
Hope they feel a little better now, please post a healed pic

P.S// have a look at some of my pics before and after
