Hi girls well since my last post about the hair extension course I have had the dreaded meeting with my boss and she has told me I can no longer guarantee you job as you cant guarantee me your hands I spoke to the job center for advice about 3 weeks ago as I knew this was coming and they said within hairdressing Dermatitis falls into the criteria of a Disability because it ticks the boxes for effecting your day to day life and ability to complete you job.
This means my boss has an obligation of care over me, to cover this she offered me a receptionist position but vie been hairdressing for 7 years I cant stand behind a desk all day watching other people do my clients and the job I love!
Im not sure what to do, because its an illness as such thats stopping me from working I may look into funding for beauty training so I can stay within the industry Im just gutted to say the least!
As anyone got any advice or been through something similar and can help, I only work part time as I have a two year old and the thought of re training is very scary right now
