Iam looking to becone a photographic make-up artist. I have experience in make-up and wish to extend my experience. Iam ideally looking for a kind of placement, where I can work, study and gain experience.
If you have any positions available or can maybe give me the right direction please send me a message or reply to this advert.

Debbie get out the yellow pages and look up all the professional photographers,
send them all an email asking for a placement or work experience,
all the really good ones have make up artists that work with them,

and be really brave and contact itv Yorkshire studios they always take on trainees and work experience placements,

you could contact all the theatres too asking for some experience,

there is lots to keep you busy here, hth

Thanks Louise, you're a great help. xxx

Hi Ya,

I'm a make up artist and found sites like www.whostesting.com and networking sites like facebook have some great op's to collaborate.
Join www.fashioncontest.co.uk they often have test shoots and are a great way of building your portfolio, once you have about 10 pictures you can contact agencies like Premier and will hopefully be placed in lots of assisting jobs, takes a while to get where you want to go but it's so worth it in the end.
Hope this helps xxx:lol:
