I was not to sure where to ask this question, sorry if it's in the wrong section! I was thinking of doing a makeup artistry course after finishing my Beauty course. Does anyone think this will help me to earn extra money doing makeup? I was looking at a few girls who had were qualified make-up artists and they were charging way more for bridal make-up etc. Is there anyone who has done it that could give me some advice?

Hiya, I have done a make up course, although I dont offer it as a service on my price list, I always offer it to brides on a trial for the wedding day and it is a good way to earn extra money.
Who were you thinking of training with?

Just had another thought, you could offer 'make up lessons' too, that would be good, especially if you were to retail make-up, Alot of ladies would love to know what make up and colours would suit them :)
Would be good to offer if you did pamper days :)

Thanks for your help  The college where I'm training at the moment does a makeup for media course.

I havn't done it myself but I've talked to a few geeks who have and they all say it's a good thing to do, there are a few places that do short courses and you can target exactly what you want to do to add to your business. Brides, prom nights etc.

I enjoyed it when I learnt to do it, You have nothing to lose :)

Good Luck xx
