Make up - How long does it last?

Hi

Does anyone know how long make up lasts for?

Am now on maternity leave and wonder whether it is ok to leave my Make up kit packed away?

any thoughts?

Make up should have an expiry period from when you first opened it. It is usually from 6 months to 12 months. You should be able to see a little pot on the back of the bottle/compact etc with something like '6M' next to it. If not, call the supplier as they should have that kind of info

TBH most make up is perfectly fine to keep,other than mascara as this does tend to go gloopy,eyeshadows etc will be absolutely fine though as will be most of your other products.I have hoards of make up as I love to collect as many coloures/shades as poss and it's all fine.Just the mascaras that have to be regularly ditched.hth
